The Acorns is one of those properties people step into and immediately relax, as if the house itself has quietly put the kettle on. A lot of that comes down to the details: the hand-formed pewter ironmongery (surprisingly satisfying to touch - you’ll catch yourself lingering), the air-brushed metal finishes on the sockets, and chandelier provides just the right amount of understated “ooh.”
The whole place carries a lighter, fresher feel than its neighbours, a sort of calm brightness, as though someone gave the house a deep breath and a quick straighten of the shoulders. Outside, the in-and-out driveway is one of those features that sounds practical and then turns out to be unexpectedly delightful, almost theatrical. You sweep in. You sweep out. People notice. And privately, you enjoy it.

The garden is generous and private, thanks to the 18-foot wall of laurel hedging at the rear. There’s also a garden shed, stoically ready for tools, bikes, or the occasional moment of contemplation where you pretend to look for something.
Altogether, it’s a home that’s been genuinely cared for and thoughtfully upgraded. No fuss, no gimmicks, just a modern, easy, comfortable space with a few details you’ll absolutely catch yourself showing off.
